Patricia Keane
As a mature student I graduated from LSAD in 2010 and have since then, established my studio and produce hand built pieces.
I use the medium of clay to express my thoughts on life and objects around me, treating it as a journal to record what is happening.
I have a fundamental interest in old objects and the effects created by the slow erosion of time. Also the history of found artefacts and the untold stories that they hoard, intrigue me.
Much of my work includes other media and is usually non-functional. Its only function is to inspire and stimulate the viewer.
