Hannah Arnup, Ballymorris Pottery
The stoneware pottery, made by Hannah Arnup, uses positive shapes and strong colours to create their distinctive image, often using spiral sgraffito decoration. The range of work reflects the breadth of Hannah’s interest and training, having studied both Fine Art Sculpture and ceramics in London. She also gained much knowledge and experience through her parents, Mick and Sally Arnup, potter and sculptor, based in Yorkshire.
Hannah Arnup established Ballymorris Pottery in 1994, with her husband John Egan. This pottery in Co. Clare, Ireland, produces quality handmade work: sculptures, functional pottery, bespoke pieces and ceramic signs. Recent developments include Ballymorris Pottery School and rental workshops.
