Eithne Hehir
Eithne Hehir graduated from Limerick School of Art and Design in 2014. She set up her
Studio in the Old Convent, Bruff, Co. Limerick and established Ballyhoura Ceramics.
Eithne works with Porcelain and creates functional and bespoke pieces.
Her work is inspired by the mood and flow of the river. This can be seen in the calming
Colours of green, blue, yellow and grey in her work. Most of her pieces are glazed on the
inside and the exteriors are left unglazed which gives a distinctive tactile experience.
Her work has been selected for the RDS Student Arts Award in 2014. It was also
Selected for ‘The Edit, Curators Exhibition at the RDS Showcase 2015 and 2016.
You can visit her Studio in Bruff by appointment. Ring 0872982061
