Marisa Mountaki

Marisa graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Ceramics in expanding practice  in 2025 at Limerick School of Art and Design and is based in Limerick . Her practice explores the relationship between precision and play through wheel throwing and hand-building, creating functional and conceptual ceramics with a strong sense of form, colour, and personality. 

Colour is a defining feature across both bodies of work. Through bright, expressive glazes, she brings a sense of energy and individuality to each piece. Whether working within the controlled repetition of the wheel or the freedom of hand-building, Marisa’s ceramics combine functionality and concept with a playful use of colour and a focus on creating objects full of personality.
