Andrew Burke

Biography: A spine injury in 2007 ended my career in science and I returned to college in 2012 to follow a degree in Fine Art at Cork College of Art and Design, specialising in ceramics, I completed my degree at LSAD in Ceramic Design.

Artist Statement: Sentio, Creo. I feel I create.

Current Work: Coloured clay marbled through white porcelain, hand built into a simple vase form, high fired.  Abstract expressionism through the clay, emotion woven into the material made permanent by touch and fire.
