Georgina took a meandering pathway into the area of ceramics. Originally on leaving school she studied business and accountancy and worked in that area for 15 years until a horse-riding accident in 2001. This event forced a number of life adjustments and made her realise the preciousness of life, that opportunities must be grabbed when they arrive.
In 2006 she returned to work with South Tipperary Arts and Cultural Providers, remaining here six years. Having an interest in the area of arts and craft she returned to full time education in 2012 doing a post leaving certificate course in Jewellery and Sliversmithing. In 2013 she began a BA Honours in Design (Ceramics) in Limerick School of Art and Design. Discovering in ceramics a medium that allows her to express her thoughts but also has an expression of its own, a new partnership and argument has begun.
